Discipleship Classes
Membership 101 is the first in a series of four classes that we offer here at Central. This special CLASS Curriculum is designed to introduce persons to faith in Christ and to a deeper and fuller life as believers. Join hundreds of other Central Baptist Church members on the journey to be a first CLASS follower of Jesus Christ.
Membership 101 is a class designed for present or prospective members of Central Baptist Church. Its purpose is to share what it means to be part of our church family, as well as our basic beliefs and lifestyle practices and the purposes of our ministries. It is also a wonderful time to get to know our Lead Pastor, Owen Bozeman and his wife, Debbie. The class meets once a month, on Sunday afternoon, from 4 - 7:30 p.m. A full dinner is included and child care is available.
Maturity 201
Maturity 201 is the second step in our Christian discipleship plan at CBC. It focuses on the basic habits which contribute to a healthy and purposeful Christian life, including how to use the Bible, how to pray and how maintaining fellowship in the church is important. This class meets most months on a Sunday afternoon, from 4 - 7:30 p.m. Note: You must complete Membership 101 before you can register for Maturity 201.
Ministry 301
Ministry 301 is the third step in our Christian discipleship plan at CBC. It examines how God has uniquely SHAPED each believer to serve in the ministry of the local church. SHAPE stands for Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experience. A deeper look at the nature of spiritual gifts and the opportunities to serve will hopefully connect every member with a primary place of service at CBC. This class meets most months on a Sunday afternoon, from 4 - 7:30 p.m. Note: You must complete Maturity 201 in order to register for Ministry 301.
Missions 401
Missions 401 is the fourth step in our Christian discipleship plan at CBC. It equips the Christian believer to discover his/her life mission, to share a personal Christian testimony and also a simple way to effectively communicate to others how to become a Christian. In addition, every believer will be challenged to become a world class Christian and become involved in world-wide missions in tangible ways. Note: You must complete Ministry 301 in order to register for Missions 401.
